Whipstitch Tibial Post Fixation Video
A recently published biomechanical study by Dr Prodromos, et al [1], demonstrated that this commonly used tibial fixation method showed some of the lowest elongation rates after cyclical loading of any tibial fixation method.
This video demonstrates how to use whipstitch to prepare a semitendinosus and gracilis tendon for use as an ACL graft. Additionally, it shows how to use a low profile Accufex screw as the tibial fixation point.
